Then practice leading a virtual dog in different ways. Practice each of these (or other) moves.

  • Front Cross.
  • Backside jump to blind cross.
  • Reverse Spin.
  • Backside jump to front cross
  • Reverse wrap.

Practice with the goal of drilling the moves so well that your subconscious mind can carry out the moves on automatic pilot. If you don't know these techniques, no worries, you can learn them in this book: LEARN DOG AGILITY TECHNIQUES OF CHAMPIONS.  <==Click ๐Ÿ•‍๐Ÿฆบ๐Ÿฉ๐Ÿ•๐ŸถWoof!

After practicing alone (with your virtual dog), try the same moves with your dog.   Treat your dog often, even if she doesn't always do what you desire.  Remember, the dog is always right.

When you dog jumps as you intend him to, give excited verbal praise and a treat and then a bonus treat.

4.Work on Stress (Excitement) Management.)

There are several things you can do to manage your excitement at trial so you can perform at your best.

Practice some of these techniques for a few minutes each day. Example techniques include:

  • "Navy Seal Breathing," and
  • Relaxation muscle group therapy.
  • Yawn therapy
